Bryan began his writing career as editor-in-chief of The Mac Observer, a role he fulfilled for 23 years. During that long run, he tech edited, contributed to, co-wrote, and wrote several For Dummies… titles.
But the sweet siren song of fiction always called him, and he published his debut SciFi cyberpunk thriller Accidental Intelligence in 2023. That novel recently won a Silver Medal from the Readers’ Favorite 2026 competition. He has also written the free short story King Liam and contributed two shorts to the SciFi anthology Neosynthesis. Another short was published in Boundary Shock Quarterly, and he’s busily working on his follow-up to his novel.
Meanwhile, Bryan lives with his dog Ichabod in eastern Washington state, where they both enjoy the fantabulous pastime of THROW THE DAMNED BALL! It’s a hoot. 10 out of 10 stars. Would recommend. Bring treats. In other news, Bryan loves writing. He loves words. He revels in the power of stories.
